Due to the heavy traffic in the village the speed signs and red strip have worn off the road, the traffic is speeding through the village, many are lorry’s, and I thought if the road was repainted wit by its signs then this would help enforce and remind them to reduce their speed.

This appears to be an annual defect. The path joins Kingsland and Shobdon parishes and is part of 2 Eardisland Memorial Walks thus has HCC reputational implications. Please get on the case

The road surface is very poor. You have sent someone to fill in the holes but this will not work because when it rains the tarmac gets washed out. It needs resurfacing to solve the problem permanently

Numerous imperfections, 24th February
All down this slope sections of tar have been lost - several layers in places, leaving deep holes on both sides and particularly down the middle. Uncomfortable and damaging for cars and lethal for motor cyclists. I shall keep a copy of this notification for submission at any future inquest.
