Why does it take 2 years to not do such a simple job?

Undergrowth and severe overgrowth., 20th July
This is a promoted path and is near impassable in various places. For most of it’s length the hedges intrude mainly on the northern side. At the western end undergrowth is the main problem except the last 200m or so which is used by farming vehicles.

Dangerous ditch across road., 20th July
I ditch has had a pipe buried in recent years, it’s become exposed and leaves a deep hole. A gate was placed over the pipe, perhaps to make it easier to climb over on foot. However this is an all purpose highway and is on the Three Rivers Ride. IT IS DANGEROUS FOR HORSES. It could easily throw a rider or cause a broken leg. It simply needs coarse stone over the pipe. It can be a Ford if rainfall is heavy so soil of fine stone will get washed away (again).

The exisiting drain inlet is in the wrong place B4348 at Dorstone, 14th October
There is a drain inlet on the B4348 between Dorstone House boundary wall and the side entrance gate of the Pump House. Water collects sometimes in a very large puddle which is splashed against the wall. A Stream of water then crosses over the road to the east side at this point. The entrance to the drain needs to be moved to the lowest point on the road.

There is no roadside drain on the north side of the B4348 bewteen the playing field at the corner of Dorstone House. Water is splashed against the boundary wall of Dorstone House, loosening the mortar and will soon lead to the collapse of he wall on to the road., 14th October
It seems that a drain to a field to the west of the playing field was cut off some years ago, so that there is a very long stretch of roadside without a drain, extending from the crossroads all the way to the B4348 corner without any drainage.
