Studham Lane Road bottom of Icknield Way to Whipsnade, 29th April
I try to walk this lane most days. This part of Studham Lane this road with no footpath that is part of the Icknield Way joining path from Dagnall to the path to Whipsnade via the golf course. This is always flooding taken a few days to disperse to allow access without getting your feet wet. There are many walkers that walk the Icknield Way there is no way round it or alternative route. When the water has receded, there is approx 150mm silt on the roadside and the drainage trenches that was dug are full of silt and is at least 200mm above the road level. These need to be dug out at least at road level and maintained.

This tree has been cut back by the council 2 or 3 years ago, and then left. The base of the tree appears to be rotting, with bark falling off especially in high winds. Concern is that it might one day fall, and frankly it looks dreadful.
