FIXMYSTREET IN HP14 3HR
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of HP14 3HR:
23 sandage road, lane end, hp14 3dq - by the side of garage and parking bays, 25th April
The shrubbery by the parking bays has completely overgrown and is next to our garage. I don't believe it's on our boundary line for us to maintain due to the parking bays, but over the 10 years we have lived here, the council has done it once and we have had to sort it out due to complete overgrowth. We're unsure whether this is our responsibility, but as we don't have ownership of the parking bays, I assume it's the council who maintain it?

Destroyed road and pot hole, 18th April
The road is becoming impassable - this is a huge pothole which will cause damage and potentially a dangerous accident. This damage has been on and off for over 2 years at least
The road needs resurfacing but an immediate series of pot hole fills could at least reduce the problem while a resurface is planned

Drain blocked by mud, 15th April
I have previously reported this blocked drain. Was advised that inspection had to wait for the water to go down. My photo clearly shows this drain totally blocked in a thick layer of mud. Please could this drain be unblocked as a matter of urgency before it causes flooding issues in the lane towards Pargrove or dries out and blocks the drain with solid mud. Thank you

Elwes Road - Deteriorating road surface, 14th April
Road surface getting progressively worse on Elwes Road in Lane End. Varying sizes of potholes across the whole road length. Where you could navigate around them before, is now not an option as they have continued to get larger and deeper over time. This will I’m sure soon cause damage to the cars belonging to us residents if not already.

Area before st.katherines parmoor, 5th April
For months, and I mean months, if not over 12 months, the road surface and potholes here have been dreadful. There has been a sign there for over 12 months saying road surface failed and yet nothing has been done. A chap I k ow locally fell off his motorcycle recently as a result of the potholes. Thankfully he was not fatally injured. What will it take for the Council to take responsibility and repair this filed road surface or do they believe that a road sign saying road failed mitigates there responsibility. Well I’m afraid it doesnt. This road sign has been I. Place for well over 12 months. Just get on and repair the road before someone is fatally injured due to your negligence.
