Very large hole in the passing place, 9th January
Reported before but had been ignored. Still a hazard! In passing place there is a large and deep hole. Entire passing place could do with re-tarmacing but he hole needs addressing. Often fills with water when it rains so will need inspecting on a dry day so drivers who are unfamiliar with the road may drive into the deep and harsh hole which could cause damage to a vehicle even at slow speed.

Thank you for sending the road sweeper so quickly, but….., 5th January
As in previous reports, because the resurfacing in the village has been done so badly, the western edge of the Main Street still has overgrown gutters that are now filled with several years of vegetation and this is never cleared so water flows down the tarmac missing the drains. The drain shown cleared in the pics was done manually by me not the street sweeper. We need manual clearance of the western gutters where there are no kerbs to recover the water run off channel
