My son tried to walk down to Callowell but the farmer has locked the large gate next to the farm. There should be access as it’s a public footpath used by many local people., 25th April

Highway ash tree has come down over stone wall and onto private land, 23rd April
Tree came from Pound of Candles Lane (towards the top end of the lane where it meets Haresfield Lane) and into paddock adjoining the house at that location.

Vehicles turning into Wragg Castle Lane, 16th April
Because of A46 closure vehicles are turning right into Wragg Castle Lane from A4173. This is a blind turn and one that without the road closure no one would normally do. Please close this lane at this point or make it exit only for the duration of the A46 works. As a regular user of the A4173 I have had more near misses here than I'm comfortable with!
