FIXMYSTREET IN GL6 1GR
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of GL6 1GR:
Dry stone wall is falling apart. I drove over a very lange chunk of the wall that had fallen out or off and had to pay for a slow puncture to be fixed., 30th April
The wall is along Bowbridge Lane. Specifically opposite number 30 Bowbridge Lane. I noticed after this winter it has got significantly worse (large holes within the wall) I park opposite and unfortunately I drove over a large peice that had broken off and had to buy a new tyre. I'm not sure if this is the right place to identify this issue and who is responsible for repairing it. Thanks

Height drop after resurfacing, car damaged getting out, 30th April
27 & 29 Woodside share a common drive from the highway. after resurfacing work the heights have changed and my car has been scraping the kerb and I had to have repairs done at local garage... my common neighbour seems ok with his car however. i also noticed that our drive does not have the typical dropped kerbstones to the household. i am advised I should not attempt may remedial solution on my own

Tree is damaged problem, 25th April
email rec 22/04 - Dear sirs
We have a row of beautiful lime trees in Kingscourt Lane which are home to many birds and wildlife. New neighbours have expressed concerns about them. I am told that work has been identified for the trees by your highways tree inspector. I would be interested to know what work had been authorised and would like to express my concern and hope that any work completed will be the minimum required and that everything will be done to preserve these beautiful trees. With a climate emergency and so many ash trees lost recently mature trees are precious.
Can you please pass my email to the appropriate dept?
Thanks for your consideration.
