I am sending you a photo of our church steps which are beginning to laminate. At the moment they do not present a trip hazard, especially as there is a concrete ramp to the right of the steps, but obviously they will deteriorate in the long term. From the maintenance responsibility agreement between the PCC and CDC I am hoping that there is someone on your team who might be able to repair the damage before it gets any worse.

Customer states there is a Gigaclear asset and is filling with water and is covering the c/way, workers have pumped the cavity but this has filled again and is causing an inch of water to spread over the road and into the drains. Customer says their boundary wall is next to this cavity and there is a risk of this entering the property. Gigaclear state there is a damaged drain that is filling the cavity and have advised MoP to contact Highways.

Medium pothole preventing the normal water flow past the house, instead causing water to flow down driveway to the house, 31st January

Wed, 31 Jan 2024 11:31:17 +0000
51.853562 -1.701557

The pothole is on the left hand side at on the road adjacent to the driveway, opposite the turning to Great Rissington. It fills up when it rains, preventing the flow of water down the road towards Upper Rissington, and when full runs down the driveway and is causing damp in the house. The issue has been there for a couple of years but has recently got worse. I have temporarily dug a small trench in the verge to aid water dispersion and have also dammed around it with soil to try and prevent water flowing down the driveway.

Path illegally diverted problem, 12th December

Tue, 12 Dec 2023 12:46:21 +0000
51.85669 -1.719146

email rcvd 11.12.23 - Good afternoon I have been asked by Parish Councillors to enquire about the diversion of the above Bridleway. The bridleway appears to have been diverted to further away from the entrance to the Old Rectory (its former entry/exit) and to come out onto Rectory Lane approximately 5 yards further up. This is a new entrance and is exiting onto a highway at a junction and on a significant slope. Has this been approved by Gloucesterhire Highways and if so will the footpath be updated on the plan? Has permission been given for the new entrance and if so would we have been consulted? I can be contacted on the telephone number below or this email. Regards

Filling in soak away leading to flooding, 24th February

Wed, 24 Feb 2021 14:52:02 +0000
51.851556 -1.714119

We have lived at Horse Hill, on the lower side of Sherborne Lane since 1971 and have never, until last year, had a problem with water coming though our inner wall or from a large area of water which you may see in the attached photos. There has always been a shallow, soak away channel under the wall of the garden of the house opposite until it was filled in last year. With lockdown, there has understandably been a large increase in traffic and delivery vans along the lane and after the layby beyond the last property was annexed several years ago, most vehicles entering the lane, have to go a couple of hundred yards along the lane to turn. Consequently with that and the rainwater being unable to drain away naturally into the depression on the north side of the lane as it has for, to our knowledge, the last 50 years we have feared that our property might flood and that the wet, seeping through the wall cause it to crumble or fall.
