A pothole in road problem, 11th April
Good afternoon want to report the pothole on the b4215 by the garage between highnam and newent and the damage it has caused to my car and the phycological destress it has caused for myself as a disabled person and 3 year old child the pot hole caused a massive impact on the car my child was hurt and caused her to be sick due to the force to the vehicle I was travelling at the speed limit the impact has caused serious pain to myself and having to wait 8 hours to be rescued from the side of the road due to how many peoples vehicles were damaged due to the pothole here are some photos of the pothole police incident number is 387 of the 28/03/24 I will be wanting compensation for the wheel tyre alloy and physical and phycological damage due to this I will also be contacting a personal injury solicitors to start legal proceedings if I’ve not heard back and been offered the compensation to accurately compensate these damages

It’s back :) sunken repairs, 10th April
Previously repaired pothole in line with near side wheel. Tarmac still intact however has sunk so on approach doesn’t look bad till you hit it. Very deep. Roughly opposite the property on the right (looking downhill to the Taynton / Tibberton turning on your left)

Really bad flooding, 28th March
Every time there is heavy rain, this piece of road floods. It forces vehicles to move to the middle of the road, risking collision. This is a busy road - 5000 vehicles a day in each direction. Please address this urgently.

Damaged verges to road, 25th March
You do not offer this as an option. The verges have been seriously damaged by the extra traffic resulting from the flooding of the A417. Seven weeks ago a contractor assured me as Chair of the Parish Council that it would be repaired ‘within a week’. It has since deteriorated further. Hugely disappointing.
