Poor repairs again, 23rd April
Yet again the appalling quality repair previously done here has failed leaving multiple squire potholes in the road. Please use proper, hot rolled tarmac here that will last. Filling it with mildly sticky gravel is pointless, and will fail, again.

Loose/rattling cover/ironwork problem, 17th April
Email received 17/04/2024: Severn Trent have ruled out the water coming off the hill and seeping into my house is their water. They checked the drainage maps and there are two in road drains that are not listed. Those go do where. Can you come check where those drains go to see if a dial away is causing the water to leak onto my property? My post code is GL16 7LQ. Heddwch is the house name.
What three words. Round. Park. Crumbles. Please treat this as urgent as I have water in my home. Thank you

Loose/rattling cover/ironwork problem, 17th April
We would like the ditch to be cleared so it flows as intended, since the water is standing and this is causing a vast amount of water to seep under the road and come down the hillside, and our house is suffering from flooding.
Forestry England have confirmed what is happening, and have advised one of the steps needing to be taken is for the ditch to be cleared. The roadways in Milkwall have road drains, but they stop before they come to us.
The road camber on our side slopes the water from the road uphill and funnels it down to the corner of our house. There is no ditch on our side of the road, and one is badly needed. There is nothing to funnel the rain that comes down Ellwood Road away from us. So, in addition, we are asking for a ditch along our side of the road.
Larch woodland above us has been taken down, meaning more water run off towards our house.
We are on the east side of the road, Ellwood Road, just below Milkwall and before Ellwood. We are just past the Milkwall boundary. GL167LQ.
