FIXMYSTREET IN GL15 6SU
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of GL15 6SU:
Grass verge maintenance not being conducted., 24th April
Various areas within the village are not being maintained.. The verges are over -growing in some areas where others less than 100 yards away are cleanly cut by contractors via two rivers housing.
Id like to understand why 70% of the grass verges on Garlands road are managed, maintained and kept looking clean and tidy throughout the year by two rivers contractors yet a further 30% of them at the end of the road are neglected and left to the devices of the locals.
I've attached some photos of well maintained verges and others that are simply left.
Ive spoken directly with the contractors who have said their work is carried out on behalf of two rivers housing and not the council, but regardless of this fact the areas highlighted are not in their scope of work.
I've also contacted the FODDC who have said that it would be GCC/Highways that are responsible for answering this query.
Would really appreciate a response which justifies the astechic inconsistencies within the village.
