FIXMYSTREET IN GL14 1AN
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of GL14 1AN:
Children leaving community play area unsighted by parked cars, 3rd May
There are no Keep Clear markings or safety barrier at the gate from the children's play area, though there are at the Recreation Ground gate opposite Highfield Villas. Children have run out of the play area and into the road and these children have been unsighted to road traffic due to parked cars at the gate. This has been reported previously and the matter has been 'Closed'. Be aware that if a child is injured or worse because of Highways decision to close the matter, the decision maker could be liable for prosecution. This matter urgently needs to be reconsidered. Many thanks.

Footpath ENE 5 blocked in two places, 28th April
Footpath ENE 5 is blocked by a fence (possibly an electric fence but I didn't test that) running in a north-south direction across the field just east of the field with a pond.
It is also obstructed by a gate fastened with barbed wire, between the field described above and the field to the south. In the photo provided the barbed wire is unfastened because it was taken after I'd already passed through the gate.
Additionally, I could not see any right of way signs for this footpath around the gate, or around the farm buildings to the south, which made the footpath difficult to follow.
