Abandoned roadworks on Curlew Way blocking access to my property, 9th May
Redrow dug the road up on 7th April to fix the drains. Their contractors found problems so they have now abandoned the works. Meanwhile cars are going on the pavement to get past the works and I cannot properly access my property/drive which is also being damaged by passing traffic. Redrow will not respond to requests for confirmation as to when this work will be completed.

Speeding and dangerous vehicles, 11th December
When will the relevant Local Authority do something about the speeding traffic in The Strand at Starcross. At 7 a.m. this morning, whilst walking along the Strand, vehicles were passing me at speeds around 40 to 50 m.p.h. Also when vehicles approach at speed, they mount the kerb when something comes in the other direction. Please sort it before Pedestrian s are hurt or even killed.

Daytrippers parking outside key worker's homes, 17th May
Since the restrictions have been partially lifted, we have had an almost constant stream of day trippers parking directly outside the houses on our street and spending several minutes to unload and load their bikes or their picnics and toys and for their bike rides or play on the beach. They are doing this to avoid paying for the carpark, especially now it does not take cash. During a deadly and highly contagious pandemic this is putting the local residents in fear of their lives. We have people of high risk who are afraid to go outside their front doors and key workers that are unable to park when they get home from work. We need signs telling the day trippers to use the parking and to restrict parking for residents only.
