Multiple potholes in road on blind bend, 13th January
Re-emergence of previous potholes but now twice as big and more of them. A poor quality repair in the summer has led to this happening again. It is better value for money to do this properly in my opinion (and as a tax payer!)

Multiple potholes on narrow lane on a blind bend., 27th August
On the lane near to the Embercombe site gate. This is a narrow single track lane and there are multiple potholes opening up on a blind bend. Cars are driving into the verge to avoid them and this is now eroding the road edge. These holes have been present for some months and are getting worse.

Several severe large potholes, 18th March
Several severe deep potholes, there are at least 7 in number which cannot be avoided even at low speed as the holes are very large positioned across the width of the single track lane. They are a hazard to all transportation including cycles and walkers. The potholes really need to be fixed now before an accident happens as they have been along this lane all winter for at least 6 months.

Severe potholes, 11th March
There are several bad potholes along this stretch of single track lane but 2 potholes are stand out as they are a danger to the public especially at night and cannot be avoided by vehicles due to the width of the lane. I know of a minibus and 4x4 getting wheel/tyre and suspension issues from this lane which has been reported on many occasions over the last 6 months to DCC but nothing has been done. It is an accident waiting to happen.

Finger post missing, 14th August
The finger post directing to Doddiscombsleigh was blown off in the January (2010) storms and has not been replaced. It is now 7 months later. I think this problem is known as the broken finger post has been taken away. This causes lots of wasted journies for vehicles looking for Doddiscombsleigh (extra CO2) and many frustrated customers for The Nobody Inn when they roam the lanes looking for directions. How long will it take to replace this sign ?
