Drainage system not draining onto enbankment, 16th December
On the opposite side of the road to my property Butterbread Barn EX6 6JD is a drain on the enbankment to the A30 - a number of drains on the road and at the end of the crash barrier on the road drain to a brick ditch type drain - the pipes coming into and out of this drain are blocked - this causes this water to across the road overloading the same structure that is on the same side of the road as my property (see report ref - FMS3184709) to overflow and discharge the water and other contaminated products from the road (diesel, silt, debris) onto my property and is making my drive wet and unstable. Devon highways deal with the ditches and drains but as this forms part of the A30 enbankment they say that you have to deal with the issue - due to both sides of the road being blocked even small amounts of rain make the setup flood my property - this is now causing me great stress as my own drainage system is picking up the water and causing issues with my septic tank, obviously the water running down the road gets contaminated on route, this is on top of the fact that my drive getting damaged and washed away. It would be nice if someone could actually take responsibility and deal with the issue instead of passing the buck. It is only now that i have found out this part of the issue is Highways England - otherwise the issue has got worse over the last 3 years and is now unsustainable - I have cleared the actual brick structure my side of the road to help the issue - it was full of weeds and rubbish washed into it from the road but have been told that climbing over the crash barrier to carrier this out is not the correct cause of action. PLEASE PLEASE HELP thank you. I would have preferred to not report anonymously but there is not other option

Drain on enbankment backing up and flooding my property, 16th December
Outside my property Butterbread Barn EX6 6JD is a drain on the enbankment to the A30 just over the wall between my drive and the crash barrier - all the ditches/drains on the road drain to a brick ditch type drain - the pipes coming into this (think there is 3) are larger than the pipe that drains somewhere onto the enbankment and does not run away fast enough - this causes this structure to overflow and discharge the water and other contaminated products from the road (diesel, silt, debris) onto my property and is making my drive wet and unstable. Devon highways deal with the ditches and drains but as this forms part of the A30 enbankment they say that you have to deal with the issue

Dog Fouling, 6th February
This is a consistent problem which I have tried to report via customer services but have not received a reply. The fouling occurs predominantly in Church Lane but other areas of the village are affected to, around the triangle of Yeoford Road, Church Lane, and the road behind Coxlan Farm. Some of the fouling left is literally 2 feet away from the dog bin provided. There is also an issue along the grass verges of the main road through the village. It needs to be addressed.

There is a stretch of several hundred yards of worn out road surface, past Honeyford bridge towards Cheriton Bishop, where the road narrows. It has been like this for about a year but got considerably worse after the winter. It needs a total re-surface to make it safe again.

Car Parking on Pavement, 23rd March
Severly restricted accessbility for pedestrains. Complaints from utilities companies, because cars inexplicably park right up on pavements. It blocks pedestrian access making it VERY dangerous for children to walk on pavement or cross very busy main road.
We need a zebra crossing as well to help children cross safely.
