Badly sunken drain on the left hand side of the road., 5th July
Surface water drain badly sunken on the left hand side of the road shortly after the Stags head pub. Also multiple other drains in various poor conditions (sinking) due to HGV traffic. Very odd this has been missed considering a complete shutdown of the road to carry out repairs was done only in the last couple of weeks.

Temporary pot hole repairs already breaking up again, 3rd February
Multiple pot holes that have been patched over within the last 2 weeks have already started breaking up due to the large volume of fully laden lorries passing over them. Numerous ones have started crumbling to expose the original pot holes, in particular one is adjacent to a cast drain located on the left hand side of the road, this is now getting deep and already causing vehicles to swerve onto the opposite side of the carriage way.

Road leading up from Stags Head Pub to the Norbord Factory (Nadder Lane / Hill village) is suffering from multiple pot holes and surface breaking up (original problem still not fixed.), 14th January
Roadway leading from the Stags Head pub up to Norbord / Torridge Transport area continues to break up (this was reported prior to Christmas) a couple of small temporary patches were put in place but these have already broken up and multiple pot holes a present causing traffic in both directions to swerve to avoid damaging tyres / wheels.
The large volume of lorries coming from the two factories is causing the temporary repairs / existing pot holes to increase in size / depth at a rapid rate.
Recent high rain levels have further exasperated the problem with drains appearing to be blocked / covers dislodged plus large puddles of water that drivers are swerving around as they are now unsure whether it is in fact a deep pot hole.

Road leading up from Stags Head Pub to the Norbord Factory (Nadder Lane / Hill village) is suffering from multiple pot holes and surface breaking up., 17th December
The roadway between the Stags Head Pub and Norbord Ltd (Nadder Lane / Hill Village EX36 4HP). The road is suffering from multiple problems; surface breaking up, potholes, sunken drain covers, road "rippling". This is mainly due to the high volume of traffic (particularly the lorries) plus the fact the road keeps on being repaired using small patches which very quickly break up on the edges and return the original problems. The faults are now causing vehicles in both directions to swerve around the low spots and drive "head on" towards each other - very dangerous, its only a matter of time before an accident is going to happen.

Recent roadway surface repairs already breaking up again., 3rd February
The roadway between the bottom of "Hill Village" and the top where Norbord and Torridge Transport is situated has recently had a number of patches made to rectify potholes. Only a matter of weeks later a number of areas are already beginning to breakup once more, due to the volume of traffic (+ type of heavy goods vehicles) these will very quickly open up again into large potholes. If caught quickly the work / cost should be minimised.
