Dangerous slippery leaves across road and passing places., 10th December

There are slippery leaves on the road from the National Trust Car Park down to the Woody Bay Hotel. On Inkerman Bridge the whole road is covered with mashed leaves , making up hill traction very difficult. The passing bays are similarly slippery and difficult to get out of, once you have pulled in for oncoming traffic.

Road between Woody Bay NT car park, Inkerman Bridge & WB Hotel, 15th January

Wed, 15 Jan 2014 16:56:52 +0000

The above road has not been swept for a number of years. The bridge area and the passing places are deep in leaves which are dangerously slippery in the current wet and icy (Mon Night) conditions. My concern has been alerted at seeing a tourist car stuck in a passing place and slipping towards the 200ft drop.
