Lack of drainage, 21st September
I have travelled between the St Breward/Temple exit to Exeter many times when it has rained. Did the contractor forget to put a camber on the road to drain water off. Yesterday (20/09.23) was torrential and frankly dangerous. There is always large amounts of standing water, particularly at the bottom of hills (not a surprise). I agree yesterday was torrential but it is the same regardless - as soon as it rains it seems the road is not drained properly. It is always so treacherous

Skip vehicle, advertising company, parked on verge, 16th June
I have a concern of a skip lorry parked on the verge at the bottom of the EB off-Slip of the A30 at Alphington Junction. (See attached) As you may be aware this location has been on the radar as a collision hotspot and I am concerned that any loss of control or failure to give way at the bottom of the slip, could lead an errant vehicle veering into this stationary skip lorry, increasing the severity of injury to occupants. Not sure how long this has been parked , but it now over a week.

M5 junction 28 to 31, 30th December
Hi Due to a lane closed on m5 jun 30 to 31 with no sign of any work started over the Christmas period the traffic has been queued to jun 28 ? Causing unnecessary pollution to the surrounding area with car / lorries stationary , spent fuel in a time when money is tight and wasted hours by travellers Obviously this could have been avoided with common sense and starting works when needed ? merry Christmas (not) to all involved in this

Excessive Vehicles causing obstruction/illegal parking, 24th September
I have put the following into bullet points - *10 private houses / 6 Council flats in the 1st Cul-de-sac of Redhills Close. * Extremely small Cul-de-sac in which 25 cars are supposed to park for the 16 properties. *Causing residential rifts, illegal parking on verges, pathways, illegal parking on council green spaces, *With the some of residents having 3 + vehicles they conveniently manoeuvre their household vehicles to 'save' themselves a parking spot leaving others to then park illegally. *Fire engines, ambulances would not have any access, access and egress grave concerns for their emergency response vehicles which could seriously endanger an already life threatening incident.
As a close we have asked Exeter City Council to come and assess this, to remove part of the grass in which case there would then maybe an allocation per property, enable more spaces. This has been turned down before and being told it's not a council matter but a law enforcement(??) How can improve? - *Remove grass? *Residents parking *Designated bay for 1vehicle per house in which at least each property has one of their own so no one goes without. *Allow a grass strip down the middle of the grass allowing private houses, at their own costs, to renevate the front gardens to a driveway. This has been allowed in other properties in Redhills Close.
This is now at a point where it is really dangerous, unmanageable and the problem will only escalate.
There are no marked parking bays.

M&S flytipping, 19th February
Marks & Spencer’s fail to take responsibility for their bins out the back of their Exe Bridges store, they are constantly overflowing and rubbish accumulates on the road and footpath behind the shop. I have let the manager of M&S know about this, he blamed ‘tramps’ and seems to consider this out of his control.
