When you wait at traffic lights underneath the M5 junction 30 heading towards Sandy Park and there is significant traffic on the M5 above there is a lot of noise - a clattery noise as traffic drives over something loose or uneven- maybe a man hole (surely not on a motorway?). (50.7118824, -3.4640557)Or perhaps there is a join in the bridge here. Anyway it’s been like this a long time but I’ve been reading a book on civil engineering accidents and was prompted to ask you to go and listen during rush hour when you’re nearby. The noise must be made by force and repetitive force can damage things I suppose.

Massive hole in the road, 26th March
Tarmac around drain has come away, meaning theres now a massive hole all around the drain. After I finished my shift at the Nhs, I came back on my motorbike and come from Butts Road and it’s directly where a motorbike lines up. I nearly fell off and I worry about cyclist going over the handlebars. What I mainly hitting is solid steel. This is roughly near 137 fore street heavitree

Slip jazard as loose grit on shared path, 2nd December
There is 1 metre by 0.5 metre loose grit/gravel. It is on the cycling line on the shared path at the approach to the controller at the signalised lights. It has been there for approximately six months. W3W is ///proper.frogs.rail which is the exact location.

Dog bin removed, 24th November
Bin removed likewise with dog waste bin on bovsmoors land. Ridiculous amount of removals 5th bin/dog waste bin removed I’ve reported- is it any wonder no one picks up after dog or rubbish now

Missing/removed bin from bus stop, 10th November
When is the bin being replaces/returned- This is the 3rd bin I am recording as being removed: Other include one at an entrance to exeter school Victoria Park Road and another from the bus stop on mincinglake road / off stoke hill.
Exeters keep the city clean message / clear up after dogs is pointless if these bins are removed. 3 bins vanished within a month and no return

White lines unclear, as many drivers are confused where to position their cars as they leave the slip road and enter the roundabout, 31st October
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to report an everyday confusion that I see for the past year as I commute from Taunton to Exeter.
As you exit M5 on Southbound side and about to enter the Sandygate Roundabout (in order to head to either the 2nd, 3rd or 4th exit, drivers on the 4th lane on the slip road (right-hand lane) struggle to position their cars and always get into the 3rd lane as they leave the slip road and enter the roundabout.
This happens during summer even when it's still bright outside. It could possibly due to the white lines overlapping each other. It is now worse as it gets dark early and starts to rain more.

A sink was broken up and left in a public area immediately to the right of Flat 1, Old St Loyes, Salters Road, Heavitree, 20th April
The broken sink had multiple dangerous sharp edges so I placed all into a bag and then into a cardboard box which is marked with warning signs, I have this at the flat but it needs collecting or I could leave the box at the flytipping spot?

Drain cover in the middle of a cul de sac that is wobbly, 17th April
Drain cover wobbly and causes a horrendous noise everytime vehicles go up and down the road. It's a busy road with 32 houses and as I live very near it, its a constant loud sound.

The whole of the area is littered with rubbish. Where are the litter pickers?, 27th February
Whilst the culprits shouldn't throw out the litter we cannot just leave it. It has never been so bad.

Large pothole in road. Was fixed but has quickly deteriorated., 24th February
This is not nice to drive or cycle through and really needs to be fixed. It’s near a school and kids with small wheeled bikes cycle this route. I worry about an accident occurring.

M5 J30 Southbound to A38 Halden Hill - Litter, 1st February
There is a large amount of litter on both the Northbound and Southbound carriageways. The litter is on the grass embankment, grass verge, hard shoulder and central reservation. LItter consists of household rubbish, plastic, tyre treads, road signs, road sign holders, cones.

Abandoned vehicle into 3rd month difficult to use drive safely, 9th January
This vehicle has been outside our house for over 2 months. It makes visibilty coming out of drive difficult and a bit dangerous. It has not been moved once, inside is full of stuff in a mess, it has a central Twickenham residence parking permit on so may not be local. We left a note on the wipers asking the driver to move it back slightly but no-one has been to the vehicle in the time it has been parked there.
