At least 4 or 5 potholes in a very small area, 6th February
At least 4 or 5 potholes have appeared in a very small space just past Nap Lane on Leigh Road. Unless a motorcyclist got of and pushed I don’t know how they’d be able to avoid hitting at least one of them. A car stands no chance of avoiding them all. I believe they have been there for 1-2 weeks but are growing rapidly

Block drains causing surface water and pedestrians getting soaked. Broken road surface hazardous to pedestrians and cyclists as no pavement and on narrowing bend where school coaches use route., 8th December
Back Lane - Blocked drain one by bus stop, one by GPs entrance, road broken up by lamppost no. 7, very dangerous when cycling, walking as no pavement here and road narrows, (school coach route), blocked drain between school car park and house, 'Charnleymore', raised drain cover outside Charnleymore. Turn right into Beacon Rise, blocked drain on right (front of college), South Molton Street, blocked drain opposite entrance to Fourways road, and blocked side drains down South Molton Street (opposite Court House pub).

Abandoned horse boxes, 9th July
There have been two abandoned horse boxes in the layby on the right hand side going out of East Street, they have been there for 3 or 4 years, maybe longer - no one uses then any more and they are now grown in with brambles and encourages others to dump rubbish in the layby.

Road sign at Wallingbrook Cross, 29th January
Road sign at Wallingbrook Cross , Chulmleigh has a broken bracket and therefore it is loose and when weather windy the metallic noise is unacceptable as my property is 5 metres away. At night noise can be heard from upstairs rooms. Also lettering so dirty ,difficult for drivers to see directions.

Flooding, 17th September
In recent rain a large puddle forms at this location and extends out to the centre line. This never used to happen and I think a drain has blocked.

Huge area of standing water, 9th September
There is a 7 metre long puddle here up to 8cm deep whenever there is significant rain. This is gradually causing erosion of the verge and is a hazard to drivers, especially at night. Pedestrians, particularly those waiting at the Moortown bus stop, are in danger of being showered with water.#
The council are aware of he problem, but have taken no action on cost grounds. Remedial work (a new drain)needs to go into the capital works budget, but the question is, 'When?'

Very poor road surface, 15th March
The road surface where indicated has broken up and it has been this way for months, the council have marked it with paint indicating its due for repair but that was so long ago the paint has worn away. The surface is so uneven that you find people swerve around it which is dangerous as its on a bend.
