Poor signage resulting in major potential accident point, 13th April
Vehicles travelling north (from Nomansland Road) south, are speeding up to cross the junction, as the signage and road markings are not strong enough. This has happened twice to our knowledge, and when travelling on the road from Shobrooke to Crediton today, if 2 seconds earlier we would have been in a major traffic accident. On our return journey from Crediton, we took the road from Nomansland, and found that drivers not familiar with the area see a clear road in front of them and so cross junction at speed. The road from Crediton is not visible. They see signage which says give way (looks as though this relates to turning towards to Shobrooke), and unclear road markings. Please remedy this asap as it is really dangerous.

Parked on double yellow lines, 8th July
Came home to find this car blocking access to my drive, which I know isn't illegal, but it's also parked on double yellow lines.

HGV parked on residential street, 19th May
This low-loader with a car on the back has been parked on the street for 4 days and counting. Immediately prior to this a similar (or the same) vehicle was parked in the same location, with an old Rolls Royce on the back and a second hitched behind - for 48 hours.
Someone appears to be using this residential street for HGV parking, causing inconvenience to other vehicles entering and leaving the estate.

Shrine to another biker, 13th May
I understand from local reporting that another fatal accident has taken place on the A377 near Hookway Crediton recently. I live locally and can’t help but notice that this junction is extremely dangerous and this is not the first fatal accident at this spot. However the last fatal accident, not that long ago, the family of the victim have seen fit to turn it into what can only be described as a shrine. We have the bikers helmet displayed and it’s still there on a stand, photos of him endless flowers, flashing lights solar lights, Christmas lights and a Christmas tree. Artefacts come and go with regularity. Much as I can see the last victim was much loved, all this paraphernalia only acts as a distraction to what is a well-known dangerous junction. Flashing lights and all sorts of large and very visible items mean that as a driver you can’t help but look at this display. The family were tending to this area just a couple of hours before the latest accident. It is in my opinion necessary that the authorities really need to remove this ever-growing distraction before there is a line of bike helmets. Road junctions are not a suitable place to mourn people who have died for the very reason that they potentially cause more heartbreak for the next family.
For the sake of every biker and car driver on the stretch of road please remove this very obvious problem as quickly as possible and as a matter of urgency

Parking of cars opposite the access to Pounds Hill., 19th November
Would it be possible to extend the double yellow lines so that cars etc. would not be allowed to park opposite the turning to Pounds Hill. The situation has become very dangerous due to the increase traffic both of light and heavy someone on site if required.

These two cars are parked in front of my house enterance. As a result I have been problem in getting my car in to my garage and reversing. As you would imagine this is palce in front of my house and I do not want any other car to parked in front of my house. Apparently, it seems this has been ongoing for quite some time. All these while no one has said anything as no one was living in this house for last 8 months or so. I ahve recently bought this house and moved in to my new house., 3rd October
This is a case of Illegal parking in front of my house. I suggest penalty for wrong parking, as I have been charged in for parking in front of someone else house for few minute. This is not acceptable.

3 week old food waste/refuse build up!, 12th June
Build up of refuse at rear of 86 Butt Parks. Food waste dated 23rd May not put out for collection today 11th June, so will sit and rot for another 2 weeks! Bags ripped open by animals to expose rotting food waste, not in food waste bin!

Refuse being put out after the fortnightly collection, 22nd March
Tenants at 86 Butt parks are putting their refuse out a day or 2 after the fortnightly collection. It then sits there for the next 12 days to be ripped open by cats and as you can see there are nappies visable, still there from the last bags they left! Among nappies we have also seen condoms and sanitary products, which besides being unsavoury to look at could also pose a health risk!

Large Pothole near Belle Parade Road Closure, 6th April
Belle Parade, Crediton, has just been closed for 12 weeks to enable a house to be re-thatched. There is a very deep pot hole just outside the closed area. Please take advantage of the existing road closure to fix it.
