The length of the A396 from the Exeter Inn roundabout to the Black Cat junction is literally crumbling away and forming huge holes in the road, after rainfall large puddles of standing water is forming across both carriageways. I have reported this numerous times over the past 6 months and nothing has been done. It is only a matter of time before there is a serious accident.

Flying tipping at the edge of the Woods near us known as Holmingham, 15th October
This has been dumped yesterday, almost every month we are getting Rubbish of some kind dumped in our beautiful countryside I would just hope there is some evidence to where it has come from.

Road blocked by thatch roof removed by fire service, 25th June
Following a fire at the thatch cottage next next to Cove Bridge http://www.devonlive.com/man-checked-for-fire-in-his-thatched-cottage-because-of-recent-london-blaze/story-30396334-detail/story.html the road to Packs Lodge Cross has been blocked with the thatch removed by the fire brigade. While I have every sympathy with the owner can you please advise me who is responsible for removing the thatch and re-opening the road? Can you please advise me when the road is due to re-open?

Deep and dangerous pot holes, 10th February
There is a deep pothole west of the entrance to Highwood Cottage. There are a number of deep potholes to the east of the entrance to Highwood Cottage. All of these are of a size that will damage wheels and cause accidents.

Large pot hole, 16th February
A large pot hole has formed near the entrance to Highwood Cottage. This has probably resulted from the increase in traffic using this road following the closure of Cove Bridge in December 2013. It on a bend a difficult to see and therefore avoid; it is getting larger in size and will cause damage to a vehicles wheel or suspension.
