Post and rail boundary fencing is down for a 30foot stretch just under to surveillance camera of "Devon dip" looks as though brambles have pulled it down and posts rotten. cattle have been in field and could have escaped.

The potholed road has been like this for a long time. The road is ruining the cars and you can not drive over 15mph due to the rough potholed road.

Badly damaged road, 29th February
The whole stretch of road, some 200 metres, is severely potholed, and is crumbling at the sides also. Tarmac completely gone in several places. An adjoining road was resurfaced 2 weeks ago, and this one is actually worse.

Sufficient mud to cause cars to lose traction has been a persistent problem for several weeks now. This is worst on the steepest part of the lane (where marked).

Mud and standing water on road, 23rd December
Along the lane near Down Green Cottage there is persistent standing water and mud. This has endured for about two years now. Even in dry weather there remains a layer of dried mud, but it is worse in wet weather, and particularly bad in the last 4 weeks. Previously it was possible to walk along the road in any footwear; in the past 2 - 3 years, only boots will do.

Unrepaired drain, 31st October
Contractors were in the area a few weeks ago, sorting out potholes and drains. A large area of Tarmac was cut out around this drain, but has not been repaired. Hard to avoid on the road. It is directly outside of Rheidol, Woodgate.

Potholes, 3rd February
The lane between Woodgate and Culmstock is totally potholed and if you try to avoid them, the road is collapsing at the edges, so you end up in a ditch! Whole length past Woodgate House to Fairlawn in a terrible state
