FIXMYSTREET IN EX14 3LJ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of EX14 3LJ:
Speed limit, 27th February
The speed limit on this section of the A373 is 40, whereas other residential sections of the road between Honiton and Cullompton are 30. As the limit is 40 vehicles, many of which are HGVs unfamiliar with the road come barrelling along at 50 or so and are unaware of the blind driveway turnings of the houses and the busy turn off to the industrial area. The section as you enter Colliton from Cullompton to the cross roads for Broadhembury and Payhembury should be a 30 limit. High speed heavy vehicles, especially heading downhill towards Honiton are a real danger.

Q, 1st November
Where Pitney Lane intersects with the A 373 it is very dangerous when driving onto the A 373. There is a blind spot on that main road. This had been painted on 'for to do' in the summer but that was never worked on. This is such a dangerous place and we have phoned East Devon Council several times.

Deep gulley at side of tarmac road, 14th October
There has been recent work where 2 way traffic lights have controlled traffic. A long wide /deep gulley has been left and constant rain had filled the gulley. At 7am (in darkness) today October 14th it appeared there was just a road puddle as I drove through it my car lurched over, it was now obvious this was a gulley. I was now completely stuck at an angle and unable to move. Local farmers told me I was the second vehicle to do this in the last couple of days and they could not understand why road cones were not in place. I called the RAC who were able to pull me out and they also said there should be cones in place. I have the relevant RAC rescue paperwork.
