Pavement surface in very poor condition, 13th June
The condition of the pavement from the position shown down to the turning for Axminster is in very poor condition mostly caused by a repair by a utility company. This pavement is used by both a local electric wheelchair user and a mobility scooter user who I have seen both struggling with the uneven surface right next to the road.

Top dressing needed on Springhead Lane, 3rd September
We were very pleased last year when the majority of Springhead Lane was resurfaced and this is a much appreciated improvement, however although at the time the contractor told us that it would be top dressed with tar and chips this year, this has not happened even though nearby roads which were resurfaced at about the same time have been dressed. Without the dressing the surface is very smooth and slippery especially when wet and at least two cyclists have come to grief on it, luckily without serious injury. Horses also slip on it a lot and as the lane links with bridlepaths quite a few horse riders pass along it on a regular basis. It would be very much appreciated if this short lane could be top dressed as soon as possible please.

Byway damaged by refuse lorry, now dangerous., 20th September
This morning a bin lorry came to collect our general refuse bin which had not been emptied on Monday as per schedule. Instead of coming down Springhead Lane for some inexplicable reason the driver chose to back down the byway fron Shute Road and slid in the ditch. The recovery caused damage to the byway and blocked the ditch which has only just been cleared. Two photos show this. The third photo shows the damage to the byway on the inside of the same bend which was also caused by a council vehicle. This has been reported on several occasions but never repaired and is now a lot worse. With the new damage on the other side described above the byway is barely negotiable by vehicles which regularly use this public byway. Urgent repairs are needed on both sides as the blocked ditch will cause flooding and further damage. It is also highly likely that other vehicles may slip into the ditch at this point. Please can this now be treated as very urgent.

Severe detioration of road surface and recurring potholes, 20th May
Springhead Lane between Hillcrest and Springhead House is in urgent need of repair. The surface has broken up in many places and large potholes are continually recurring despite previous patching. The road was marked up for resurfacing and we were told that it was planned for April but nothing happened and the markings for resurfacing have mostly disappeared. Change of ownership of one of the properties has resulted in increased traffic and the extremely poor state of the road must be causing vehicle damage. It would be greatly appreciated if the proposed resurfacing could be expedited.
