Dangerous road surface, 19th July
From approx 1.5 miles from Patterson’s Cross on the A30 for about half a mile, in the east bound carriageway, the road surface is very dangerous. It feels almost as if it’s icy, as if the car can’t grip the road properly. I think they have removed the very top layer, or scraped it off; I think the speed limit there should be reduced until it is resurfaced. Impossible to get a photo safely

Jesu Street Ottery-St=-Mary. Very deep and now dangerous pothole by Eastbound Pavement. There have been some very dangerous swerves to avoid this very deep pothole. It must be fixed immediately., 21st December
Cyclists and all two wheeled vehicles are at great risk if they hit this hole. With the sheer density of traffic on this very narrow town road avoiding striking this hole with a nearside wheel is almost impossible...thus the problem worsens by the minute. It must be fixed before someone is injured..

The handrail on the north side of the footbridge across the mill leat has been broken off at ground level., 14th July
This footbridge is on the Land of Canaan park. Several of the uprights have been snapped off at ground level and the rail is unsupported at the eastern end. I think it has happened in the past week. It has been dragged back into place, but anyone leaning on it could cause the remaining uprights to give way.

Road surface appears to be pretty shredded, 11th May
This area continues to get worse. The uphill side of the road (westbound) is now pockmarked with dents to the road surface, the frequency and size of which are particularly dangerous to cyclists - I've had to swerve through them daily. This has been like this for over a year. I was so hopeful when two repairs were done, but those were further down the hill and ignored this damage. The worst is opposite the junction for the hospital and thorne park way.

New access constructed into a field with a new road, no drainage provision or visibility splays made, a real danger for road users all with no planning application.

Caravans Parked Overnight and all day, 4th September
For over two weeks there have been mobile home caravans parked 24/7 at Caanan Way car park. I believe they may be possibly occupied by builders working on building sites in Ottery St Mary. I have observed a water bucket on one of the vehicles and it waa also left by the stream next to the car park.One of the caravans has been here for well over two weeks.
