FIXMYSTREET IN EN7 6WZ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of EN7 6WZ:
Trees overgrowing the footpath, 24th April
Trees overgrowing the footpath close to the public house, the Prince of Wales. The overgrown trees are forcing pedestrians into the road, unless you are under 4 foot tall! This is on a bend and could easily result in a collision between a car and pedestrian, as the bend is tight and visability reduced at this point

Grass verges and hedges damaged., 13th March
The hedges outside 30-40 Cuffley Hill have been damaged over time by road traffic accidents and some currently do not exist at all. This has led to a lack of protection from traffic and delivery drivers and other cars constantly mounting the pavement, providing a threat to pedestrians and children. It has become really unsightly and would benefit from being returfed or the hedges being addressed as there is no protection from vehicles.

A previous 'repair' now degenerating into a deep pothole in the centre of the road on a blind bend. As usual probably doesn't fit the council's criteria for repair.

There are a few potholes along this side of the road all the way up the hill, 12th December
These potholes are large enough to damage tyres/wheels but drivers are avoiding them and encroaching on the opposite side of the road - I've counted at least 6 and they're getting worse

Large pothole on dangerous bend, 8th December
Apparently the council deem a pothole of some 10inches by 7inches and 3/4inches deep unworthy of repair. There are now five other potholes growing in size around this one. Soon we should have a swimming pool in the road what with the leak present as well that no one cares about as well!! Still bring on the freezing weather and we can have our own ice rink as well ??

Pothole and flooding of road. When temperatures are low water is freezing, 6th December
The pothole has been here for months and although you will probably deem it to be too small it could cause damage to tyres. Flooding has been here for ages, when the temperature is low it is a sheet of ice. This will no doubt cause a serious accident at some point. St James Road is a busy road and should be gritted. The whole road can become very slippery and dangerous.

Black bollard outside the CO OP in Goffs Oak, 20th October
The bollard directly outside the Goffs Oak CO OP has been hit by a CO OP lorry some months ago, it has now had an orange plastic barrier put around it. the bollard is on the edge of the area that is used for the Remembrance Day Parade in Goffs Oak, which is in 3 weeks. would it be possible to get this unsightly and dangerous mess put right before our parade. the area was kindly jet washed b the council yesterday to make it a respectable area, but it makes the repairs look even more unsightly.

Trees overhanging footway, 2nd June
There are two large conifers in the garden of 123 Tolmers Road overhanging the pavement on High Ridge. After several years of neglect, these now dangle down so low, that they force pedestrians to walk in the road, which is dangerous, being both near a junction and a blind bend. Please could these be trimmed to allow pedestrians to walk comfortably beneath them. Thank you.
