Large hole in pavement, 9th January
Hi - there is a large hole in the pavement at this location, which was dug by a telecomms company (working on fibre broadband installation?) back in October and has yet to be repaired. The works are long finished and other holes have been [poorly] repaired; this however has been left with a temporary cover and the cover is starting to depreciate. The hole is right in the middle of the pavement next to the main road and its is difficult to avoid, and problematic especially for disabled pedestrians and young families. Thanks for looking into it.

Poor repair causing slip hazard, 3rd October
A poor repair has been carried out on the steps up from Haugh Road using cement with a very smooth surface that when wet or icy is a very dangerous slip hazard, especially for the elderly and children. The repair has been poorly laid down, is fairly large and is in a position on the curve of the steps meaning it is hard to step over or around. It has also not been made in a style in keeping with the rest of the stairs.

Pavement obstructed by overgrown bushes, 9th September
The pavement here is effectively blocked by overgrown hedge (containing thorns). Pedestrians are forced onto road and path of traffic from infront and behind. This is a busy school route meaning children and parents with buggies are endangered.

Overgrown bushes blocking visibility for pedestrians and cars at junction, 7th May
Overgrown bushes are blocking visibility for pedestrians and cars at junction of Ben Sawyers Park and Tantallon Road. The bushes are well over head height and cannot be seen through, which has led to a number of near misses with cars and pedestrians, especially children, that could have caused injury or worse. The problem affects pedestrians coming from the east/country direction and drivers who typically look to the open west/town direction.
The overgrown bushes are also obscuring the street sign.

Not fixed despite being reported for MONTHS, 10th June
For MONTHS I have been reporting dozens of holes most of the way down Heugh Brae and they are getting WORSE than ever and have NEVER EVER been sorted!!!!
SOme of the holes are huge and people drive down the middle of the road as the holes are on the left side downhill.
Between Sea Breezes' gate (on the left going up) and the top, there is a VERY DEEP HOLE on the left side exactly where a left wheel would drive, but people pull out to the right side to avoid this hole which would damage a wheel or axle.
NEEDS SORTING AS SOON AS POSS AS DOO ALL THE OTHERS RIGHT DOWN TO THE BOTTOM.
This road must be an absolute NIGHTMARE to motorcyclists and needs sorting.
Also the council should send the brush wagon up to brush grit away from the roads where the jet patched holes break up - VERY DANGEROUS TO cyclists and motorbikes!!!!!
