Edges of shallow steps need repainting, 1st October
The shallow steps between Roman camp and callander park are not well lit. It's easy to miss a step especially now the paint has worn off. My friend missed a step in the dark two weeks ago and broke her ankle.

Lighting column dark, 24th September
Lighting column between Roman Camp Way and the lane leading down to Callendar Park has been dark for a couple of weeks. I tried to report this on the Midlothian Council reporting system but Roman Camp, Pathhead is 'not found'. This is the same difficulty as I encountered in around 2014 in trying to use the Council website.

New pothole on main road northbound, 21st February
This location was recently the subject of some utility company work, with temporary traffic lights. The repair strip on completion has left the road with a substantial dip/bump on the left hand side heading north towards Edgehead.
