FIXMYSTREET IN DH9 9JA
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of DH9 9JA:
Unsafe parking, 26th April
For the last almost year, the parking on number 10 has creating nothing but trouble for other residents. Not only is there often a van parking on the corner causing major disruption as you drive around the corner. Secondly, the house being rented has a one car drive yet there’s currently 4 cars being kept there (one on drive, three on the corner). For those with children it’s impossible to get through the gap making it extremely unsafe to walk on the road with a child in a pram. Sometimes there’s not even enough room to walk on the path without a pram. The cars don’t move throughout the day much either meaning it’s a constant obstruction for everyone.

Unruly dogs/ Dog fouling, 9th February
At 2 Harperley Gardens there are 3 dogs that bark constantly. There is one in a cage in the back garden that is hardly ever let out and is usually covered in its own faeces, and two in the front. The two little ones are very vicious and have bitten a number of people. The back garden is covered in dog faeces which makes the whole street smell I can't have windows or doors open as the smell gets in. These animals are usually just left in the garden all day to bark at anyone and not even let in when it is snowing and raining. The big one in the back garden is always in the cage and only gets out for a few minutes each day. This is not an acceptable way for an animal to live.
