Large potholes, 2nd April
There are a number of large potholes from junction 61 to 62 where the lanes increase to 3. There could be a serious accident when a vehicle swerves to avoid them at high speed. Terrible road condition for a motorway.

Potholes and noise. patched up work., 4th March
The road sevice north and south at Bowburn is very noisy seems we are nearly down to the cables underneath the tarmac.allthough the hard shoulders are very quiet as they were just recently done. We were promised the surface would be relaid just before covid came alone.How long must we wait.

The carriageways between junction 60 to junction 61 of the A1(m) in Durham numerous potholes, 4th December
Numerous pot holes have been a problem in this area for a long time. But they have got far worse, the sizes and depth is increasing rapidly. These are both north and south bound, northbound can only be described as extremely hazardous.

The big roundabout at Bowburn Durham is a accident waiting to happen due to road marking being very faint I had two near misses this week due to cars not being in correct lanes due to the markings.

Issue with Traffic Lights timing., 15th February
Hi there. Since the easing of Covid restrictions and more people returning to work, the timings of the traffic lights on the northbound exit at J61 on the A1M need revisiting. Every morning at approximately 8:15am, there is a queue of traffic on the slip road, which cannot proceed on to the A177 due to the traffic at the lights leading on to the A177 having backed up. By the time the traffic coming over the flyover has cleared, the lights have turned to red again and the traffic from the A1M are unable to proceed. At most one or two cars can get over if they chance it. Please could this be looked at. Many thanks.

Road markings worn, 21st January
There was a serious accident on the roundabout today. Last week we were involved in a road rage incident in the same area, other incidents reported on Facebook.I believe there is a problem in that Lane markings are worn and need repainting. In particular where a lane splits into two lanes, both north and south directions.

Diversion signage off (and back onto) the A1(M) is inadequate, 31st July
The northbound diversion signage for the closure of the A1(M) in County Durham is inadequate and confusing. There are long sections where diversion signage is missing entirely, particularly through Durham City, where anyone unfamiliar with the area will become completely lost. I suggest that someone has a look at this.

Grass cutting has exposed all the litter, 12th June
Hi
The grass cutting has exposed tons of litter round here. WHen you cut the grass, either do it just after you litter pick, or do it at the same time. Plus a load of it has now been shredded into thousands of tiny bits for you to pick up! Please arrange for a pick on the all the on and off slips that you can cut grass on here.
