Recently laid surface dressing has broken away leaving deep grooves in the road.

Litter, dog poo and dead birds, 8th May
Macdonald's wrappers been dumped along the path. 4 dead birds and fresh dog poo. Dog walkers use the path as a cut through to the field and don't pick up their mess. Path is directly opposite Queen Street, across the main road. Leads onto the big field behind the club.

Dumpy bag and bags of household and garden waste, 15th August
There is a dumpy bag and several shopper bags of household and garden waste blocking a public footpath. Elderly dog walkers are having to walk over it to gain access to the path. Been there a week tomorrow, I have spoken to the local land owner (whose access is beside the path) and they had reported it to DCC earlier in the week, however it is still causing an obstruction.

Faeces on road, 4th August
On the road, between 31 and 33 Queen Street there is what appears to be multiple deposits of dog waste (and also along the back lane of Queen Street). It has been suggested that some of the waste is not dog, it is actually human.

Waste bins not emptied, 19th May
The refuse collection has failed to happen on several occasions on the Edenfield estate West Pelton, Edenfield has had a rat problem for three years now which is exacerbated by refuse not collected for a four week period .Now we understand that recycling is important,however the communities health is more important and if the refuse collection team continue to be overzealous in their refuse recycling discrimination then rubbish may end up on the roadside.in some beautyspot in a neighbouring parish. Please address this problem as the community feel victimised by the refuse collection team.

Street light, 11th September
The repair to the street light has been ongoing for months now with the pavement access restricted. Several disabled residents, pensioners and children have to walk onto the road because of this ongoing repair.

Flytipping, 27th May
Numerous items of rubbish have been dumped at the entry point of our land blocking access. We believe this was done on Monday 25th and was found on the morning of Tuesday 26th. We would really appreciate your assistance in removing the rubbish and would appreciate any advice as to how we can prevent this happening in the future.

Pavement and road pot holes, 3rd May
The pavement and road in view tops are littered with pot holes and loose tarmac which is reply breaking up and spreading. I reported the issue with the pavement outside my property in February 2013 and did not receive a response. I again reported the state of the pavement in summer 2014 and nothing has been done.

Dog mess, 3rd June
Persistent dog fouling, it gets cleaned up and within days it is all up this section of road from fire station to beamish. Not able to push baby in buggy along this pavement anymore, have to use road. Needs enforcement officers rather than only cleaning - solve cause not the effect!
