Tree to be cut, 23rd June
A large cherry tree in our communal garden is under threat of being cut because recently moved in tenants claim it is restricting the light into their home. Surely they should have determined this before moving in & not imposing their will on other long established tenants. The trees here are necessary to help reduce soil erosion as the property is on a hill & they provide habitat for numerous wild birds.

Continued parking on bend at Woodbury Down Way, 1st April
Vehicle continually is parking on Double Yellow Lines on the bend going into Woodbury Down Way. The owner is at the building site opposite. He as been asked to remove it as it is a danger to other vehicles who have to go into the oncoming traffic to get around it.

Permanent resident and commercial vehicle parking on the pavement causing permanent obstruction, 21st March
The residents of Talbot road, Lyme regis, continually park on the pavement, causing pedestrians including children to walk on the road. This is a constant and permanent problem. There are also many commercial vehicles where residents have businesses who live here that park on the road. Huge Campervans are blocking visibility to other road users or child pedestrians ducking in and out of vehicles.

Light 34072 faulty, 18th October
Out for eight weeks, reported to Lyme council , WDC and SSE. ALL say lamps were WDC and transferred to Dorset Council. URGENT as this light at the eastern end of the cobb has no other light on this important routeOut for at least eight weeks , time it was fixed . Reported weeks ago!!

Drain blocked on the corner of Gore lane and Lyme Rd, 18th December
Hello, I hope you can help? I reported this last year and with the heavy rain we are having at the moment it appears that there is still a problem. We are buying the cottage that you can see and would be really grateful if you can forward on to who ever you can to get it looked at. I am worried it may cause damage as there is often a lot of water just sitting there.

The whole of Cathole lane is a mess. The sides are filed with debris so it is getting narrower and it has large and deep potholes all along its length which are not being addressed. They are damaging vehicles using the lane, 21st December
The lane is deteriorating significantly and all that has happened are some temporary patches to the worst potholes - none of those have lasted more than a month. The lane is getting narrower and more hazardous to drive.
We were told the lane would be properly investigated but we have heard nothing.

Regular Dog Fouling, 23rd November
Residents reported dog fouling in Sir George's Close and in Acorn Close several months ago, we were informed that a warden would attend and "no dog fouling" signs could be erected. However residents haven't seen any evidence of action from the council and there is still an ongoing issue with dog fouling in Sir George's Close and Acorn Close.

The ferns and verges have dropped onto SpringHead Road, 29th June
Due to rain and wind, the verges have grown so high, they have flopped onto the highway and extend about a metre into the road which is dangerous and blocks visibility, not to mention brushing heavily against the car body.

HigHighway surface damage, junction Broad St and Silver Street, 20th May
There are severe irregularities in the road surface near the junction of Silver and Broad Streets. Heavy vehicles passing these spots are causing alarming vibrations/ movement in our old timber frame building No 30 Broad St) to the point where permanent damage may be expected. Precise locations: *Major depression outside front entrance of Hotel No 1, Pound Street, S side of highway (rapidly worsening). *Sunken cover outside Baptist Church entrance, Silver Street. *Depression outside entrance to No 26 Broad Street, S side of highway. *NB There is widespread cracking of the surface dressing over services trenches in this area.

Potholes and a patchwork concrete design. Not safe when wet. Tyres can grip surface, 6th January
The whole of woodmead needs to be resurfaced from top to bottom. Uneven. A patchwork of concrete the whole way up the Rd. Car loses grip going up in wet weather. A necessary Rd for people to bypass the town to save congestion certainly in summer months. But it's unpleasant to drive. To top it off with a big pot hole at the top...
