Overly large tree, 6th March
Since moving into this property in 2020 we have had concerned about the conifer type tree bordering the bottom corner of our garden. During bad weather it is prone to losing branches which we have endeavored to tidy up and keep in check. We have had to remove some lower branches as it was damaging our fence. The tree partially covers the street lighting outside. I had approached my local council by they informed me the tree was the responsibility of national highways.

Faint Road markings, 12th February
Yet again I’m reporting the faint road markings that need to be repainted. This is now causing major problems in the close. The emergency services and refuse collectors cannot access 1-6 Cordova Gardens because the entry is being blocked by thoughtless drivers. Two weeks ago 3 ambulances visited this site and had to park in the middle of the road as they could not access 1-6. This is totally unacceptable and the lines need to be replenished. I look forward to hearing when the works will take place.

Blocked gutter, 1st January
The gutter, on the corner, as it turns towards 1-7 Perryhays, is blocked, full of leaves and debris. This area is prone to flooding from water than comes down off North Allington so it is important that it is cleared.

Drains in north street completely full of mud and dirt. They have not been properly cleaned in decades. Water bypasses the drain and flows down the road into Victoria Grove and cuases a risk of flooding when heavy., 23rd November
There used to be a lorry which would clean out the drains by sucking out the debris. This has not happened in this area for at least 10 years. I man with a spade cannot clear them properly. This drain can no longer be seen and so is never cleaned. All the drains in this area have debris almost to the top. Water cannot flow down properly and I expect that the drains between the visible covers will also be full of the same debris.

Overgrown hedge border covers pavement, 16th November
The raised pavement along the north side of At Andrews Road has a hedge border that is so overgrown that the path is too narrow, only one person can walk on it, anyone passing has to walk on the muddy verge which has now developed a permenant track, clearly showing that it is not sufficiently wide. There is a stone wall a good 60 cm deeper into the hedge where the pavement full width should be back to.

Car seems to been abandoned, 15th August
The tyres are flat & looks as if the front suspension has broken. Car has not moved by approx 3 months. Parking is very limited since double yellow lines have been painted (without notice!)

Growth blocking junction, 1st August
The bushes at the junction of the A35 and Walditch Road in Bridport prevent visability both for turning left and right out onto the A35. Traffic approaching Bridport can't be seen and drives fast making the junction dangerous. The bushes should be removed totally and replaced with ground cover.

It appears than a vehicle has hit the bridge and that three large stones from the top of the bridge have fallen into the River Asker. This has occurred in the last week or so.
