As each car passes over the manhole cover in the busy The Grove road, a loud metallic double-knock is heard. It's on the southbound side of The Grove by the junction with Northernhay. I think the manhole is square and made of two triangles.

Streetlight shining very brightly all night into bedroom windows, 11th July
We have recently moved into Victoria Terrace, Fordington. There is a streetlight on the narrow footpath which runs from Dunloe House on Fordington High St to the south eastern corner of Salisbury Field which is located very close to the bedroom windows of 1 and 2 Victoria Terrace. This shines brightly all night and hinders our sleep which constitutes light trespass. Please could this be modified by adding a shield to reduce this glare or other mitigating actions taken so that our sleep is not disturbed further. The reference of the street light on Lightsonindorset.co.uk is 001V151 in F/P SO1

Range rover parked on path, large van parked on corner and smaller van parked across two spaces., 12th June
The same household - Park their grey range rover with 2 wheels on the pavement so block the path. They park a large van right on the corner preventing emergency vehicles access. Park their other company vehicle across 2 spaces deliberately to ensure they can then park their range rover half way on the path.
Location is Hardy Avenue, Dorchester.
Issue with them parking over 2 spaces has been constant for over a year. The big van has been around 3 weeks.

Inconsiderate parking, 5th March
Inconsiderate parking in this cul de sac and on the corner is making it considerably difficult and dangerous to get out of the driveway and see the road ahead. No thought whatsoever is given to any resident wishing to get in or out. Even a Fire engine recently had difficulty in turning there due to cars blocking the way. An accident waiting to happen.

A large amount of "soil" needs to be removed from the road, 28th February
The eastern kerb of North Street, Charminster between the Gamekeeper, past the end of Wanchard Lane as far as Hayden Farm is full of mud. It has been there so long that I notice some blackthorn and grass has started to grow in it. The mud probably flows down from Wanchard Lane and vehicles going to the Depot or Charminster Farm. When it is wet, mud splashes onto the narrow adjacent path.

Urgent fixing - Playground Great Field Poundbury, 30th June
Sadly, it seems that some of the wire / material used to ensure safety at the playground on the Great Filed is missing. Older kids are climbing out the windows of the Butter Market structure, fun for them but it makes it very precarious for younger ones being allowed to climb up on their own. Apologies, I didn’t get a chance to see if wire / material is missing on any other structures. The attached photographs show the issue quite clearly.

The manhole covers on Middlemarsh street, outside number 53 are making a very loud clanking noise every time someone drives over them. When we first moved here the noise didn’t happen but it’s now been going on for quite some time and is very frustrating at night ttime - especially for the kids as suddenly the clank clank thunders through the house and we try to go to sleep, again!
