Serious Road Surface Deterioration at junction of Highgate Lane and West Stafford Bypass, 21st July
Multiple road surface deterioration issues at junction Highgate Lane and West Stafford bypass. It's always stressful riding across this specific section. Why are conditions still disgraceful along these roads and dangerous for cyclists? The conditions shouldnt be like this . When you actually send people out to repair at these locations, do they ever think to look around for other issues, report them and do something about them? Why is it necesary for members of the public to the job that shouldn't really be their job to do?

Serious and dangerous surface conditions at junction, 21st July
Multiple issues at junction with Highgate Lane (and also close by on Highgate lane a closeby a little further). Potholes, uneven/broken up road surface. If any cyclist rides into this they could potentially face damage to their wheels or worse still fall offf their bike. Rest assured legal action will follow. I've (and others) have reported this junction (and many other issues along the NCN2) numerous times. Why is it still a disgrace and dangerous for cyclists? This is - if you weren't aware part of the NCN 2. The conditions shouldnt be like this . Also if I've reported this on multiple occasions why is there no marker on the map to indicate that this is an unresolved issue? Who is removing these markers, i'd like to know - because i'd say it's just a little bit naughty to do so and possibly against Dorset councils code of conduct. And of course i'd love to know who is actually supervising the quality of the road repairs or who is deciding which repairs to prioritise. When you actually send people out to repair at these locations, do they ever think to look around for other issues? It certainly seems like it, which it's seems like a very inefficient way to do things (and much like poor quality repairs which cost more in the medium term), when they have to come out again to repair a spot just a few metres away. This is taxpayers money and I don't expect the roads for cyclists to be in such poor condition. We need to be encouraging more people to cycle in this area, locals or tourists. How do the poor conditions of these roads help encourage increased cycling activity?
