Hi the bank on the folly in Cerne Abbas has overgrown the road so much it is obstructing both the highway and drivers views. Dorset council have told us they own the bank/verge between the A352 and Barton farm estate entrance, yet they have failed to cut it back for at least 2 years despite informing us they would do so.

Dog Fouling, 8th March
Two new dog fouling incidents along the river path in Cerne .. between 9.15 and about 11.15..Monday 8th March.. towards the Kettle Bridge end of the path. One had been kicked to scatter the pile... but not good enough .. people will still be liable to walk in it.The other on opposite side draped over a branch.

Wills lane is used regularly by schoolchildren from the village school so abandoned dog waste is especially unfortunate. It is a regular occurrence.

New dog fouling, 3rd March
Last week a concerted effort was made to clear this path of dog poo. Sinage and physical clearance of the banks of the river and the left hand side of path where it emerges from the playing field were completed...by me. The signs were removed by A AnOther on Sunday night Monday morning??? I completed the job on Monday. Today Wed 3rd.. new fouling. Paint circled in blue today.

Dog poo in Andrews Lane and multiple fouling in Mill Lane, 24th February
Action needed to require owners to pick up. Signs, education and a patrolling dog warden. This problem seems to have got worse and cannot be blamed wholly on visitors. Local fields are also used as dog loos.
