FIXMYSTREET IN DT2 7FE
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of DT2 7FE:
Pothole, 10th January
Lane 1 - Large potholes which caused blowout to side wall of front offside tyre. We are unable to give exact location owing to the fact this road is a busy dual carriage with no pedestrian access, only several laybys. This is approximate based on the distance I had to drive at 5mph on a flat tyre to find a safe location to stop and assess the damage - in which there another driver who had just suffered the exact same damage to their tyre from the same pothole not 10 minutes before.
Another pothole immediately after the pair of potholes biased to the nearside of the lane has affected the front nearside tyre causing a bulge to the sidewall - required replacement of this tyre aswell.

Large potholes in both wheel tracks., 17th April
There are large, deep potholes between the Stinsford roundabout and Bere Regis. I tried to avoid one large pothole east of the A354 junction, and thumped into another one. Having just paid for a wheel realignment last week, its probably knocked that out already and I'll have more uneven wear on my tyres.

The A35 is littered from the Kingston maurward roundabout near Dorchester through to bere Regis - both sides of the road, 7th March
The amount of litter both sides of the A35 is disgraceful. It is an ongoing issue & a disgrace to what is supposed to be an area if outstanding beauty. I am not just a moaner but organise regular village litter picks. The A31 from bere Regis to corfe mullen is also dreadful. It is sad to see that much of the litter is old highways stuff - eisel frames for signs, sandbags, traffic cones. It should be accepted policy that any working party ensures the area is left litter free.

A35 East bound in this section of the A35 east bound
A previous repair to a sinkhole in the outside lane of the A35 dual carriageway is developing a sunken area in the middle of the repair, if you happen to drive over it as it is in the driving line you certainly know you have driven over some kind of depression in the road

Street light continuously ON, 11th June
The street light has been on continuously since Monday morning after it was noticed that some work had been carried out. This seems a waste of electricity when we have been led to believe that the street lights thru Tolpuddle would be turned off at night to conserve power.
