Faulty Roadworks Traffic Lights, 31st March
As of approx 5pm this eve, the traffic lights controlling the roadworks over the railway bridge repair were not operational at all coming from Maiden Newton direction. Travelling into Maiden Newton (down the hill) they appeared to be stuck solely on red.

Dangerous Pothole, 15th January
Coming down the steep hill on the way into Maiden Newton there is a large pothole, sitting directly in line with the natural path of nearside tyres.

Long deep pothole south bound going toward Maiden Newton on down hill. Hazard to motorcyclistsnear, 15th January
Just passed this long deep pothole, ground sunk about 2' to 3' long whilst travelling on the other side of the road. Would recommend inspection and repair as it looked as though woukd cause serious damage to motir vehicles and motorcyclists. Highway damage is south bound, downward on hill, north of Maiden Newton, Dorset, adjacent to the quarry area.

A large pit has been dug into the highway surface and filled with clay. The person reporting this to me thought it dangarous.

All local direction signs gone completely!!, 3rd June
At this juction , there is a signpost but all the signs have gone!! ok if you're local and know the area,but awful for visitors, is also eyesore, as old fashioned white ones with black lettering have all gone, can they be replaced please?
