Parking on Pavement, 12th January
I have witnessed parents of the Willington primary school parking on the grass verges of the Trent Avenue and the entrance of school twice a day to drop off their children. This has created a hazzard as the grass has become a mud bath, is a trip hazzard and very slippery. Also, in case of fire or emergency the cars paring near the school gate and on the road, will prevent emergency vehicles from reaching the school. I have spoken to the headteacher who regularly sends letters to parents to ask them not to park on the verges as it is also a danger to the children who walk to and from school alone. Despite this it continues to happen. We need wooden posts into the grass to deter this happening .

I recently reported a uneven footpath and the attached image of works were completed. The finish is poor and remains uneven possibly even more so than previously.
