Kitchen extractor hood dumped sometime over the weekend at the back of the verge. Tyre marks can be seen on the verge from the vehicle that must have dumped it.

Mattress dumped in the 2nd passing place on the right hand side going up Willowpit Lane, 23rd June
Mattress dumped yesterday 22/6 during the day in the same place as the turf/soil/plastic sack but thrown into the hedge. As said before you need a camera here as the number of incidents is ridiculous. Maybe it would help if the signs were replaced saying it is a passing place. Too many vehicles use it inappropriately as a parking place which makes it impossible for traffic to pass without using the verge as it is a single track lane!

Turf, soil & stone dumped in the 2nd passing place going up Willowpit Lane, 23rd June
Turf, soil, stones & a full black plastic sack dumped Tuesday during the day. This is on top of the litter reported to Peter Holmes in which there was a receipt.

Concrete post, base etc dumped yesterday in 2nd passing place on the right hand side as you go up Willowpit Lane from A516, 15th May
Concrete rubbish dumped in the ditch yesterday. Also the rubbish, black sacks, green plastic box haven’t been cleared a few feet away which was reported a couple of weeks ago.

Sliproad Lights Operating in Daylight, 6th May
The street lights on both the westbound entry, and eastbound exit, sliproads of the A50 at Hilton are lit constantly. This issue seems to have originated when the LED lights were fitted.

Tree Preservation Order application, 24th April
The trees situated on the Public Open Space area provide significant amenity value to local residents, not least by softening the urban environment and providing a visual screen between properties in the area. The trees provide considerable social benefit to many of the local community through their contribution to the local landscape. The trees also provide an important habitat to local wildlife, particularly nesting and migrating birds, squirrels and possibly bats, with pipistrelle bats often seen in the area.

TPO Protection, 24th April
I'd like to apply for a TPO for numerous trees on our road. These tress provide a home to lots of birds and wildlife including squirrels and a nightingale. They also greatly enhance the appearance of the local environment.

Tree Preservation Order application, 24th April
There are 7 beautiful trees of multiple species in this small area that add significant amenity value to the area (due partly to their beauty) giving enjoyment to the local residents plus are used by wildlife including squirrels and birds of various species for nesting and roosting including song birds and quite often a couple birds of prey! (i am no bird expert so forgive me for not knowing the species). . 2 healthy trees have already been completely removed from this area including a beautiful and very healthy Cherry that the contractor that was tasked with removing advised was a huge shame to lose.

Eggington Road, Hilton. Junction with Owl Estate, 2nd January
Huge dip in opening of junction. This is not surfaced and presents residents & traders with significant road access, use and departures. Needs addressing urgently. Families with young children and disabled people live here!!

Owl development, Hilton, Derby, 24th October
New estate not yet adopted, completed apart from road tarmac. Water is standing below the raised manholes resulting in significant problems for residents and tradesmen. As & when this becomes frozen in the weeks ahead then a serious risk of injury is obvious. The most flooded junction is on the entry to Eggington Road, very busy. I’m a local tradesman and this small estate is a nightmare to navigate, raised manholes, kerbs and standing water etc. Please can this be resolved for all users.

Potholes , very deep 7 or 8, 29th May
At the side of the lane many deep potholes with the hardcore layer exposed . On the bicycles we were in danger of damaging our bikes or being thrown off.
Noticeable , south of the River Dove in the Staffordshire area repairs to the lane are underway

Overgrown foliage affecting view from junction, 12th April
When driving out of Witham Close, view is obscured by unkept hedge/ivy etc and is dangerous.

Obstructed view by fallen tree, 12th April
This tree was blown over in the storms weeks ago. When crossing from that side of the road on the pedestrian ramp, a clear view to the right cannot be obtained. This is particularly unsafe when walking with a pushchair etc. would have thought that it could have been at least felled to ground level by now.

Path left in a dangerous state, 1st April
Recent major excavations closed this path for some time . On reopening the path has not been reinstated to anything like an acceptable standard. It is sunk in the middle , the stones used are too big and have not been compacted ...the surface is dangerous for walkers and cyclists

No entry sign off slip not visible, 17th January
On two occasions in the last week as I exited the A50 off slip Westbound, toward Hilton I have met a one car doing 3 point turn having come up the wrong way and a also a car trying to turn left the wrong way up the slip road. The no entry sign is not clear as you approach Hilton from Etwall the A516, the sign seems to have been moved/spun round the pole.
