Redundant frames for 'road works signage' along with old, damaged and unslightly sand bags., 5th February
These unsightly remains from roadworks which should have been cleared away when works were completed. There are two sites, close to each other. One outside the Town Hall and the second lower down the road outside Queens Vaults. Why arnen't these signs cleared away when works are completed. They look tatty and show disregard for businesses adjacent.

Road subsiding on Foxholes Lane, Kniveton, just by Pethills., 12th February
There is a huge dip in the road here as much of it has been washed away on both sides of the road and the road is subsiding on the stream side. The whole stretch between the junction with Kniveton Lane and the B5035 is full of very deep potholes that it is not possible to avoid when driving. Some years the council patches this lane but the patching just washes away during bad weather.
