Deep pothole on street with 2 schools near it, 15th January
This pothole has been attended to, at least 3 previous times over the last 2 years and each time it has got deeper. The police have attended recently one evening, when a car tyre was punctured.

I work for the Environment Agency and am dealing with a site which has reportedly pushed asbestos contaminated material over their boundary and onto the A38 from the south. I want to make the local council and national highways aware so they can assess the risk and we can communicate through out the process

Dangerous parking, 8th October
Cars park on these double yellows all the time, and all the way to the junction, making it hard to turn into the street, and to view traffic when leaving.
It's becoming quite a pain, and has previously caused an accident.

A38 Locally Known As Alfreton Bypass, Alfreton. The grass verge backing onto number 52 Abbott Road, Alfreton, 10th August
The trees/bamboo backing onto property from the grass verge of the A38. There was a fence erected by the highways to protect the property from the A38 but there are trees that have over grown and are pushing on our fence. Her husband had tried to cut the trees down and then put them through their shredder which has now been destroyed as the trees were too big. now the trees are pushing on the fence and causing damage and would like them to be removed.

Grass too high on sliproad A38 Somercotes Northbound, 13th June
The grass has grown too high and is making it impossible to see cars on the sliproad that are joining the A38 at Somercotes, Alfreton bypass, and vice versa. Grass was cut on the southbound side of the junction but not the northbound side. It's been a problem for nearly two weeks now.
