Broken gateway, 27th June
The fence supporting the gate has been broken - possibly deliberately. This will allow animals grazing on Cromford Moor to escape onto Black Rocks, and eventually on to the publics roads

The corner edge of the wall has become damaged, with possible further erosion. Damage possibly by a vehicle. Repair necessary both to ensure the upkeep of the neighbourhood and for H&S.

Following a recent conversation with a local resident about overhanging trees on Harrison Drive, I walked the footway of Harrison Drive. I also encountered an obstruction of the footway highway.

Drain on highway blocked on Nan Gells Hill, Bolehill. Corner of New Road., 21st May
Photos 0386 & 0387 show location of drain and blockage. Additionally, a drain circa 100m further up Nan Gells Hill is also blocked. Photo 0390. Increasing the frequency of checking and clearing drains would save these individual reports and mitigate flooding

Broken manhole cover on the footway of Nan Gell's Hill, Bolehill, Wirksworth, 19th May
Report received form a local resident this morning. See two photos. circa 75m from junction with New Road and Bolehill Road. The metal cover, possibly for water/sewage is cracked in 2/3 places. It is now indented. There may be bricks beneath. Damage probably caused by a vehicle driving onto the footway.

Plastic bale wrappings are discarded across the small enclosed agricultural open storage area where the track runs to a locked and barbed wired field gate. The plastic blows into the trees and wood, representing a threat to both wildlife and tor he beauty of the landscape. Query over ownership of footbridge over Harrison Drive, Wirksworth, 13th March
Further to my report about the obstruction of the FB by mud and the status of the path route ie it appears to be neither adopted highway nor a RoW, could I ask Highways to clarify a) the ownership of the FB b) who is responsible for its maintenance. I would like to report this information to Wirksworth Town Council. Many thanks.
