Dogs allowed through children's play area, 2nd May
Dogs and their walkers frequently wonder through the childrens play area and allow them to defecate here. Could I please suggest a fence to prevent this happening. Does the council realise how harmful it is to young children?

Matlock Train Station car park being ‘claimed’ by the travellers, 17th April
The travellers have had the right half of the station car park for themselves for the past few years but when I went in the other day, they were also spread all the way across the first left aisle as well as all of the right side. The problem being that they personally blocked off the whole first row of parking by placing a ladder horizontally across the entrance to the aisle, leaving their kids to run and scooter around the car park and leave their equipment abandoned on the parking grounds.
This leaves around a quarter of the entire car park left for actual civilian use and even then, you have to manoeuvre your way around all of the vehicles and vans that the people staying there leave scattered around the grounds. The state of the whole car park is just overrun now. It’s a very bad first impression to newcomers arriving off the train into Matlock for their first time

Poor visibility at crossing with toddler, 1st September
Please elevate the consideration of double yellow lines on the entrance road to Morledge. Not only do people park blocking the island, they park blocking visibility at the junction crossing making it very difficult and dangerous trying to cross here daily with my toddler. Please fix before someone is knocked down!

Very large and deep pothole, 23rd February
Very large and deep pothole on the left hand side going up Cavendish Rd. It is NOT the 1 that has been repaired by the entrance to Rockside Steps, this is another before that 1. Very difficult to avoid as cars parked opposite it making it tricky to go around. About 30 yards before you turn up onto Wolds Rise.

Same Problem 10-14inch pothole, 4th February
This is a continuing problem which has now been repaired twice. The tarmac placed upon tarmac is putting a plaster on the job and not solving the issue. Unfortunately the pothole receives ALL traffic, it’s on a bus route and we are a large cul-de-sac 200plus housing estate. The engineers need to have a think and consider a repair that lasts longer than a week.

Tree obstructing stop, needs cutting back, 3rd February
Tree needs pruning back. Tree branch is right at eye level when alighting from a bus. Health and safety issue as someone will be injured by this.
Also double deckers cannot get to the kerb properly (to allow those with reduced mobility to get off safely) without risking smashing the upstairs windows. This tree needs substantially pruning back before it starts growing again shortly, to prevent the bus stop being obstructed even more.
