Pothole and dangerous raised curb norbury close allestree, 20th April
Near the second gateway to Lawn Primary School (first pedestrian gateway) there is a pothole on the side of the road, and it is getting bigger and bigger. Alongside the pothole is a raised curb edge that needs lowering as it is a trip hazard.
This has been ongoing for quite some time and I have noticed recently that the rain we've had is worsening the problem very quickly.
It wouldn't take much for someone to trip over the raised curb or roll an ankle in the pothole - lots of elderly residents in the area as well as, of course, a school full of children.

Uneven surface, 20th March
In at least 4 specific areas in the right hand lane of the A38 between the A5111 roundabout and Markeaton has a patch of road surface what looks just like this. Extremely rough to drive on and has been in this state now for months, the point I have selected is just one of the areas, I believe there’s 4/5 patches just like this on the aforementioned stretch.

A38 Uneven surface - outside lane, 8th March
There are a few patches of road in the outside lane between Kingsway and Markeaton Islands, heading towards Derby, where the road surface is in very poor condition. The state of these patches has become worse over time, to the point where it has gone from being a nuisance to a potential danger, especially at night when they are less visible.

Sunken drain covers, 26th February
At the Markeaton Island southbound there are drain covers that are badly sunk. This is dangerous for motorcyclists like myself and needs attention as soon as possible before a bad accident happens to someone. If a motorbiker is unaware of this and hits one at 30mph + whilst banking for the roundabout, they are very likely to come off. I'd be surprised if this hasn't happened before, these cover have been like this for some time.

Persistent littering, 24th January
Im wondering what is being done about the persistent littering in the Vernon Gate area. This has been going on for months, every morning that I go past there’s litter strewn all over, it’s cleared quickly. But I’m wondering if something is being done to stop this happening in the first place? I have previously notified the council when I found an address of a nearby solicitors in the mess, so it is clear to see where at least some of the litter is coming from. It’s unappealing to residents and harmful to local animals.
