Accident damaged comings green and had not been fixed for a couple weeks, 3rd April
The small green opposite Sussex Terrace where Wycar branches off Masham Road. A large vehicle Knowles over boards and damaged grass area. Also damaged the mirror in the lampost which was a safety measure. It hasn't been fixed. Could you please address it? Thanks

Could one bay be disabled please?, 3rd April
There are 4 parking bays at entrance to the park. The nursery uses them as private parking for their bus and staff. But I need to use them to access the park for dog walking as do other disabled users in town. Could one of the bays please be made a disabled parking to prevent the nursery using them as long term parking and ensure disabled access? We used to be able to use the hall car park as an alternative and there is a disabled spot there, but cant anymore as it had been gated. Thanks

Park footpath damaged by vehicles making disabled access dangerous, 3rd April
Vehicles have been using the bedale park footpath which means the path is badly damaged in many areas and a trip hazard. I am a disabled user who walks with crutches and it is now very difficult to use the path. Could it be resurfaced please and could you put one or 2 bollards to stop vehicles using the footpath as a road?

Potholes galore near the sandhill lane roundabout in aiskew and potholes galore in morton on swale near the school, 3rd March
Hi there I travel from bedale to Northallerton in North Yorkshire daily for work and the state of the road in two places are horrendous covered in potholes.
1st - aiskew at the sandhill roundabout
2nd - morton on swale near the primary school.
Also while highlighting these issues near masham Bridge in North Yorkshire where the river has flooded, it has lifted up previously bad repair work on the road and left deep holes in the road.
These roads require repairing immediately as we all pay road taxes to commute to work and daily commutes.
If you can not help then please give me contact information so I can progress this issue further.
If nothing gets done then I will have to escalate this matter further myself.

This road has cars travelling fast both too and from the A1 and Northallerton,it could really do with some form of crossing for those with young children and the elderly.

Slip road northbound A1M junction 51 signage missing, 12th July
This sign has been missing for at least 20 months to my knowledge. When previous reported, the reply was " it is in our maintenence programme". This is a major route into the Yorkshire Dales, and with 5 exits on the roundabout signage is really important.

Poor lighting on a hill in the carpark, 7th July
I fell over snapping my hand back in the dark due to poor lighting.

The hedges are obscuring the signs on the A6055. Request the hedges are cut back and signs made visible for adequate distance on approach. Hedges have not been maintained for 12 months+

Speed limit sign, 17th July
There's a 50mph speed limit sign on the northbound carriageway of the A1M, south of Junction 52, approximately 200 yards ahead is a National speed limit sign. In between the signs there is no evidence of roadworks. This is confusing to drivers who don't know whether or not to slow down. This has been an issue for several months now.

Dangerous VMS Message, 10th May
On the A1 between Junction 52 and 50 there were approximately 10 VMS showing oncoming vehicle 50mph and oncoming vehicle 20mph for many miles followed by an end message. There was no evidence of an oncoming vehicles over this stretch and impact on the traffic speed was dangerous as some vehicles were slowing down significantly whilst others weren't. This difference in speed between different vehicles is dangerous on a motorway and the oncoming vehicle should not be used lightly given the impact on traffic flow.
If the incident was not confirmed then it should state reports of oncoming vehicle to indicate this is unconfirmed.
I would like a response as to why this was set.

Cars parking on grass verge, 29th January
Cars and large vans parking on grass verge in front of Alexandra Terrace. Completely blocking visability splays for cars emerging from rear of properties. Large vans completely block the light able to get into the houses. And the verge is becoming muddy which is been dragged onto highway. He soakaways for the old terraces are in this verge and are staring to collapse and become blocked causing the rainwater gutters to spill onto pavement. This problem has been on going for years but us getting worse as more people do it.
