Potholes and Mega Potholes, 31st January
This road is constantly used by farm, traffic, as well as heavy goods, vehicles, transporting milk, and using it as a bypass to avoid Northallerton. In doing so, they are creating massive breakup of the road surface, causing major potholes. There are several smaller ones, as well as quite a few larger ones which will cause damage to private vehicles, as well as taxis. Recently there has been work done on this road, however, the problem has been made worse by resurfacing in the weather, followed by freezing weather. The local council doesn’t seem to realise how to properly correct the problem. If they do the work during the summer months, when it is dry and warm, this problem wouldn’t keep happening . Maybe it’s time for the local council to finally realise that the public are right and they are wrong.
