The road from Winston Gate to Ovington is very heavily soiled with a mixture of mud and slurry sludge which is creating a slipping hazard. In addition the agricultural vehicles using this road over the last 2 days have been driving consistently over the soft verges on both sides of the road thereby eroding the soft verge, damaging the metalled edge of the road and eroding the grass frontage of the homes along Ovington Lane. This damage has occurred in the last 2 days, the main time during which the spreading has been taking place.
