The Pavement at Carr's Terrace has been destroyed by workmen from a company called Freedom working on behalf of Northern Electric. They have patched up areas after work but because of heavy machinery used, they have damaged large patches of the remainder which has left it uneven and dangerous to the Public

On Clemmy Bank footpath there are overhanging bushes and trees on both Council ( Childrens Play park ) and Private Property ( Woodlands House ) forcing both school children (Meeting Barnard Castle School Bus) and adults to walk on the road. This corner, Clemmy Bank and High street is extremely Dangerous especially in the mornings with drivers driving at excessive speed through the village.
